IPIC offers tutorial sessions in preparation for the Patent Agents' Exam. Candidates MUST be planning to sit for at least one paper of the 2010 Exam.

Tutorial Exercises and Sessions

Exercises will be forwarded to candidates in early January. Candidates will be required to submit answers to the tutorial exercises by January 29. The answers will be reviewed and discussed in four half-day sessions on March 1 and 2.

Note: The review of answers received after the due date will be at the tutor's discretion.

Tour of the Patent Office

Students are invited to take part in a tour of the Patent Office on Wednesday, March 3, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to learn more about the patent application process and meet with patent examiners.

Cancellation Policy

A refund will be granted up to and including December 11, 2009, less a $50 cancellation fee.

The tutorials are not restricted to IPIC members but should it become necessary to restrict the number of candidates, preference will be given to IPIC members.
