In June 2008, the Standing Committee on the Law of Patents (SCP) of WIPO issued the Report on the International Patent System. One of the items in this report is the question of privilege. The SCP mandated the WIPO Secretariat to prepare a study on privilege and it invited stakeholders to provide comments on the report.
IPIC sent its comments in October 2008.
