Patent owners have not fared well before the United States Patent Trial and Appeal Board, but chances for success may be improving. Drawing on their experience in over 100 Inter Partes Reviews, Post-Grant Reviews, and Covered Business Method Reviews, Finnegan attorneys Andy Holtman and Jason Stach will share their insights about how the PTAB trial process is changing and how patent owners and petitioners alike can best position themselves for success. They will also discuss practical tips for how to plan now for where the law is heading, including identifying steps to take in light of the Oil States and SAS Institute cases pending at the United States Supreme Court.
