Join our expert panel as they provide an overview of key provisions of Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and how they may impact your clients.

CASL’s anti-spam provisions, which will come into force on July 1, 2014, are considered to be among the most stringent in the world and will have a significant impact on how businesses and individuals communicate electronically. Also as of January 15, 2015, CASL will impact software developers, service providers and distributors by introducing numerous requirements for the installation of software onto computer systems. Companies, their directors and other individuals failing to comply with CASL, may be subject to fines and class actions amounting to millions of dollars.
